Winter and Christmas Opening Hours

It’s that time of the year again so here all are the opening and closing time for the EssenC Design Studio for the coming months ahead.

October: Open every Saturday 2pm – 6pm, but please make an appointment first to avoid over-booking.

open during the week also as normal, 10am – 5:30pm.

November : Open Saturday – 6th and 13th – 2pm – 6pm

November 14th – Christmas Craft Fair, Hotel Kilmore, Cavan. 11am FREE admission. See my stand in the main area, beside the stage.

Saturday and Sunday 20th and 21st – “official open house” @ the design studio. open 11am – late (ish). mulled wine and refreshments served to get into the christmas spirit. great opportunity to do some christmas shopping or get that hat and scarf for yourself! Gift vouchers also on sale.

23rd – 29th – closed due to a craft fair in cork city.

25th – 28th Christmas Craft Fair in City Hall, Cork City.

December: 1st-5th – RDS Christmas Craft Fair, RDS, Dublin.

December 6th – 10th and December 13th – 17th Fitzwilliam Christmas Craft Fair, Dublin.

December 11th, 12th, 18th, 19th – open house continues at the design studio.

sunday today and im in work. i suppose this is a good complaint as i have lots or work and orders to keep me going. going home now. have my new laptop working properly and i have been adding my blog to the new windows software.

Ploughing Championships 2010

the national ploughing championships took place last week in athy, co kildare. we had a fantastic big stall with food and crafts together. thanks to all my new customers who purchased bits and pieces from the range and also to my returning customers – it was lovely to see you all again, one year on. see you at next year’s ploughing.

The Design Studio

it’s gorgeous now – the design studio after it’s facelift. the house was painted earlier in the summer but i never got a chance to upload the new images, so here they are. hope you like them.

The studio is open to the public on an appointment basis from 10am – 5:30pm Monday to Friday, and at weekends if prior notice is given. There will be plenty of open days and dates to visit now that the autumn is fast approaching.

Fleadh Cheoil na hEireann – All Ireland Fleadh.

its getting close to the Fleadh now, with just days to go. i am working away on my limited edition range of music inspired scarves which will be on sale in Eason’s in Cavan and in the Cavan Crystal Hotel from Sunday 15th onwards, AND at my stall @ the LEADER Craft Village on Sat 21st and Sun 22nd August. it should be great. i have many many designs and in many colour options so there is a great choice. scarves are acrylic so are suitable for all skin types and are machine washable. colours are : black and white, royal and white (for cavan), emerald and gold, turquoise and lime (fleadh colours) and there are two sizes – small and large. large is €25 and small is €15 with a special offer also – buy 4 large scarves and receive a small scarf for free while stocks last. PURE London

i have not blogged in quite a while but i promise i will start again and try to keep it up this time. im not long back from London after exhibiting at PURE for the first time. thanks to all those retailers who ordered with me at the show and i look forward to getting the orders to you asap. the show was great and it was nce to be in london again. but back home now, and it’s busy busy. getting ready for the All Ireland Fleadh which is coming to Cavan from next monday until the following one. i am doing a stall at it selling some new limited edition scarves so i will add photos of them later. anyway, its good to be back blogging.

broken machines

if you are a knitter you will  know how vital your machines’s  strippers are. that sounds weird but it not. they are small parts that fit inside the machine and they are worn which means nothing is knitting properly. Dam. it makes life very difficult.

End of the Christmas Craft Fairs

Its that time of year again and all the craft fairs are coming to an end – well all the ones i am exhibiting at anyway. this was my first year at the city hall craft fair in cork city and what a fab show. thank you to all the people who came to see my designs and purchased bits and pieces from me – i hope they keep you lovey an warm over the coming winter. it was lovely to meet all the new faces. see you again next year please god. im just back also from the RDS Christmas show which was last week. i took up residence at my usual spot on the  balcony so i hope you all found me ok. thanks again to everyone who purchased their presents from mr whether they were for yourself or other, its all greatly appreciated.  see you all again next winter at the shows. keep an eye on my website www.sineadclarke.com under the news and events page to see where i am going next.
